I was thinking of going into law, however I might settle on teaching. Except Utah teachers make squat, so if I want to live a comfortable life I'd probably have to get another job.

I, like SoCalCoug, like to write. I've always enjoyed writing short stories and even movie scripts (a little geeky thing I do).

Fellow creative thinkers eh?

Well now, this site seems to have attracted many similar personalities -Tooblue's conversations with family or friends ...

Family, friend or nondescript person:
"Why are you moving to Canada?"
Tooblue: "I'm going to art school, My wife is Canadian"
Family, friend or nondescript person: “huh?”
Tooblue: “I’m moving to Toronto to study art”
Family, friend or nondescript person: “huh??”
Tooblue: I’m going to art school … The Ontario College of Art and Design, one of the oldest art schools in North America!”
Family, friend or nondescript person: “huh???”
Tooblue: I’m moving to go to law school *sigh*
Family, friend or nondescript person: “oh that’s wonderful, good for you, your parents must be so proud.”

Were you aware that Monet was a lawyer?

I have a brother [a ute, always on utefans] who is a lawyer, another brother[sometimes on utefans] who is a doctor, another brother [a ute, always on utefans] who is in hospital admin and a sister who is a nurse.

I'm now a college art prof, and my parents are pleased that, when asked they can explain what it is I do for a living even if they can't explain why I live in Canada!

I am also a writer trying to finish several short stories, although mine are illustrated and geared to the 9 - 12 year old audience. I may try my hand at a little BYU v Utah cartoon ... though time is not my friend!
