Yikes. They should cut the balls off the boys who do that.

This must be a Texan thing (like your feelings about swimming). Around here Volleyball is very competitive. Most of the best Bball players also play volleyball for at least a year or two to help improve their vertical. Not making the team is not surprising, as you need to be reasonably tall and pretty athletic to make it.

I love it when Californians defend boy's volleyball and water polo as major macho sports.

Volleyball is a great sport. Like badminton.

I tried out for the volleyball team?

I was too busy driving around my car that my parents bought me when I turned 16.

Speaking of which, I feel really bad for the guys like you that did not have a car in high school. Yikes!

the funniest thing is imagining you and Rogan catching a sporting event, right before you catch Arcade of Fire.

I can just see it.

Again, glad to see you refuse to stoop to mocking.

In most places (unlike Texas apparently) we don't constantly feel the need to over-compensate by announcing our manliness. But hey, whatever works pal.

I wish you two could quit each other.

If all the basketball players play volleyball, how come there are no black volleyball players on the men's teams, indoor and outdoor?

Strange. Oh wait, I know why. I'll bet you don't.

As long as I continue to dominate your thoughts, I am fine.

Arcade Fire isnt coming here soon.

radiohead on Monday and Wed, though. Maybe I will see Rogan there. Should I say hello to him from you? I bet he has some good mikewaters stories.

There's a strategy; change the argument mid stream to something completely different and announce victory!

Close your eyes, think real hard and go back to your original comment about not making the HS volleyball team. Remember? You are the one that said it. It was your comment about not making the HS VB team that I was responding to. DO you now want to talk about the national teams and racial diversity? That seems like a slightly different issue, doesn't it? Or maybe this all goes back to the unassailable machismo of Texans (even non-native ones, I presume)?

Who made this thread personal? and then cries when the frying pan hits him?

Buck up you frickin elf.
