I never reported on my trout trip to Oklahoma. Had a good time, and caught some trout on nymphs for the first time. One brown trout and several rainbows.

I learned that there is actually a lot of technique in nymph presentation! And without good presentation (i.e. drift speed), the wish just won't hit. I have a lot to work on.

I'll be going back up there soon.

Been collecting gear. I now have 4,5, and 8 weight rods along with reels. That should hold me for a time.

Been catching blue gill and bass down here in my neck of the woods on the fly as well. A lot of fun. Great hobby.
