LOL. "ties".

It is indistinguishable from the oligarchy, and is an extension of it.

Welcome back, hyperbole.

When you see Obama "getting tough" with Wall Street, just remember it is not Obama taking on the oligarchs. It is merely his oligarch backers picking which oligarchs are the winners, and which are the losers.

Some heads will roll, no doubt. Just don't confuse that with revolution. It is a smoke screen.

Got it. So no matter what he does, it is evidence that he is run by the oligarchy.

I think your tin foil hat may need some polish.

Sorry Cali, I knew that article would be upsetting to you. Maybe it is something that you and Tex can actually join forces on in condemning.

That was the whole point of the article: Reagan, Clinton, Bush II, and now Obama are beholden to Wall Street. It's alarming when your chief of staff, treasury secretary, and chief economist are all revolving doors.

Obama has taken a big step forward by detaching Wall Street's welfare from main street and by recognizing that finance-led growth cannot lead to true prosperity. But still.

The election business is nonsense, Waters' imagination is quite amazing.

You simpletons have drunk the koolaid. You all are crazy.

You literally think this guy is a new Abraham Lincoln, simple country lawyer from Illinois.

Only a socialist who fellates Obama would see hyperbole in your post.

There is no Wall Street revolution.

Obama is Cali's savior. And apparently Chino's too.

The two parties simply listen to different parts of the oligarchy. The author's take on how nobody will really squeeze those who should is spot on.

The truth is, Obama plays for the team and the Dems can't afford to not play ball with the oligarchs as they are bigger than anybody.

LSAT/ACT problem

Cali is to the Dems and Obama, and Tex was to _______.

a) Dems and Obama
b) Reps and Bush
c) Reps and McCain.

Or as Anderson Cooper on CNN said, a "teabagger".
