I mindlessly follow the direction of the brethren and stick with thee and thou. So far that seems to be working out okay for me.

What he did was selfish and shows a lack of honesty and integrity, and I pray that we see him body slammed to the turf on Saturday more than once.

His little speeches are for the Church's rep, not for you.

Exactly. Let the Church love him then. As a BYU fan I hope he comes out the game getting his scrotum tickled by his brain.

I can think of other ways that he could have, and should have represented the church.

It's fair (or at least not inconsistent) to say he should represent the church by playing for BYU.

It's unfair and inconsistent to say he misrepresented the church by "lying" by changing his mind on his mission and transferring schools. We have our starting QB for the same reason.

Yeah Jay, but at least Hall was lying for Jesus.

It should be a matter of principle that we hate those that suddenly step over and join Santa Ana.

yeah, but now that he's gone the best he can do is play well, make a splash, and give those little speeches. Church's welfare is maximized that way.

Now that he's gone I hope he chokes, disappears into oblivion and BYU gets to make the splash, and Max Hall can make those little speeches.
