That is an interesting stance you and Tex take. Anyone who disagrees with a GA (Sister Beck) is a whiner and full of shit.

Yet you both protest mightly if anyone tells either of you, you are advocates of blind obedience.

I would love to be in either of your wards. The Bishop says the scouts should go on a camping trip to the Uintahs, I suggest Moab would be a better trip. Indy and Tex then chime in, "Bishop ignore BYU71, he is a whiner and full of shit."

No, it'd be more like, "If you read BYU71's stuff, you can clearly see he's a whiner and is also full of shit."

And your all-too-common peanut gallery post does not.

As usual.

I advise you to stay out of this one Lingo. These are heavyweights going at it. You are lible to get hurt.

Thanks for watching out for me, 71. I'll be sure your funeral is real nice.

Indy Coug 11-20-2007 02:10 PM

It's OK. My exaltation is already assured.

That was a good one. I have your back Johnny, I am just trying to make sure you don't make my job too difficult.

This response reminded me of Tex and Indy and Lingo:

I've been astonished at how many women are sharing with the world that one talk, from one woman, undermined their entire sense of self worth. How fragile must your feelings of self worth be when a woman many of us have not met shares idealised goals and a whole section of society falls apart.

It is time to grow some stones, ladies.

I'm not American, but wasn't it one of your nations First Ladies that stated something about "A person can only make you feel bad if you give them permission".

I wholeheartedly agreed with the talk given in Conference. If a woman has a family she cannot whine later on if things go off the rails because she was too busy with worthless activities. It is a stay at home mum's job to keep the place nice. How would you folks like it if your hubby didn't bring home a wage one week because he didn't feel like it. If, however, you are responsible jointly for income, the responsibility should be jointly held for housework but somebody still has to take the lead. Ladies, stop crying into your keyboard and teach your kids how to do the dishes. Teach them how to brush their own hair and tie a tie. Teach your families basic family hygene. If you don't, nobody else will.

I run a business, and hold down a difficult job, and am responsible for my family and home. I don't DO it all myself, but I am responsible for it. I also have time for social activities. LDS life is time consuming but it is not difficult.

Stones, Ladies, Stones.
