Romo out for 4 weeks with broken finger

Cowboys wanted John Beck before the season started.

Dolphins shopping Beck now before the trade deadline. I wonder if we could see a deal here.

Bye bye playoffs.

Brad Johnson is a serviceable backup. They need to pound the rock on every play.

I don't know what the next four games looks like for them, but they've got St. Louis next week, a winnable game...then again, if they piss it away like Washington did yesterday, the Rams might just look like world beaters. Ugh.

Brad Johnson is old and immobile. He's a sitting duck.

Dallas will have no choice but to pound the ball more now. Not a bad strategy really cause I love Marion Barber, but that'll only take you so far. Especially when 3 of the next 4 defenses they play are in the top tier of the league right now.

MikeWaters 10-13-2008 07:17 PM

Not a big dropoff from Romo of last two week and Brad Johnson. Brad will take care of the ball, make accurate short throws.

Clark Addison 10-13-2008 09:23 PM

Good thing I didn't trade Aaron Rodgers.

cougjunkie 10-14-2008 03:17 AM

John Beck is not garnering any interest.

Tony Romo broke his finger. Big surprise.

In other news TripletDaddy has a sprained wrist. ;)

MikeWaters 10-14-2008 02:26 PM

Romo will be fine. He will probably spend the four weeks relaxing and motorboating.

I've built up all my core muscles over the years.

So the Cowboys are having an extremely busy week. Now they just traded for Roy Williams

They already have Roy Williams. ;)

A 1st, 3rd, 6th this year and a 7th next year. Is a ridiculous amount for him.

.

Has that every happened? A team that has 2 individuals with the same name.... It is not like they can put Ja Beck and Jo Beck on their jersey.

MikeWaters 10-14-2008 09:20 PM

How good is Roy Williams? I can't remember the last time I watched the Lions where he was healthy playing.

He is better than Patrick Crayton, Miles Austin and Sam Hurd combined.

MikeWaters 10-14-2008 09:29 PM

Seeing #11 for the Cardinals tear it up must have been the last straw for Jones.

He's like, they have Larry Fitzgerald and I have Patrick Crayton, who is so small you can't even see him on the field, not to mention has alligator arms.

Now if only the 'boys can get John Beck, I will be back on the wagon!

The closest I can remember is when Andre and Andra Davis were both on the Browns.

But I'm sure it's probably happened before.

MikeWaters 10-14-2008 10:14 PM

I'm betting that the Cowboys feel like they can get Beck next year as a free agent after the Dolphins cut him. If they care to do even that.

WHo knows, maybe it is CFL for Beck pretty soon.

One thing is for sure, neither of the Roy Williamses can cover.
