The best all-time guest on SNL
I caught the Best of SNL - Alec Baldwin last night on tv.
Has there ever been a consistently better guest on that show than Baldwin? Of the 45 minutes that I caught last night, there were probably 6 or 7 genuine laugh-out-loud moments. "The Zinger" vs "The Burner" showdown was an instant classic. "Here, hold this way-too-hot cup of coffee. Hey, can you tell me what time it is? Burned!!!" |
Did they show the clips of his cat, Toonsces, who knew how to drive a car?

All over the town Toonces the Driving Cat! Alec B is one of the best guests overall, no doubt. Canteen Boy Greenhilly Schwetty Balls/Wieners etc etc |

Alec B was Charles Nelson Reilly, acting in character as King Lort from "A Troll in Central Park." where is king Lort? Is he here? Can I speak with him? "Hello....this is King Lort....there's a troll in Central Park..." |
Haven't watched it much but, the bit mimicking the PBS radio series: Schwettie Balls....had me in stitches.

There isn't even a close second.

Alec Baldwin sucks. There is nothing about him that is amusing or entertaining. |
Wrong. In the modern era, Alec Baldwin has been the most important, most talented guest.
