Not really. Church teaches that honesty is important, greed is bad, love of money bad, Babylon/mammon/world is bad. Helping others is good.

What's baffling is how can close to 40% of the student body be voting Democrat? We took a poll when I was there, and it was like 80% republicans, 10% independents, 10% Democrats.

40% of BYU professors, that wouldn't be surprising.

I guess Sanders is relatively honest.

The church is not always going to reflect a 1950s ideal. Young kids don't even know what that ideal is like.
