Indian-Americans and the church

I see this as a potential in-road for the church. They are very traditional. Yet we have had a number of Indians pass through my ward. Two mixed-race couples where the husband was Indian and converted to the church when dating. A family joined the church in our ward after investigating for a year or two. And another Indian couple (young) was spotted attending sacrament meeting last week in my ward. Not sure if they are members.

Indians have Muslims, Hindus, Christians. They have family values. They are into education. Unlike Chinese they actually have religious backgrounds.

Make it happening!

Sounds promising. The great thing about Indians (I heard Dinesh D'Souza say) is that education level and religiosity are completely uncorrelated. The average IT professional is as religious as the janitor. They can inject the Church with brainpower.
