Lets get some super bowl appetizer recipes

i am having a superbowl party at my house, a few things we do

1. We have the chocalate fountain with marshmallows, strawberries, bananas, pretzels, and any thing else you can think of.

2. the homemade salsa

3. Buffalo Wings, Ribs, and of course chips and dip

Anyone else make anything special for the superbowl? if so please post the recipe.

7 Layer Bean Dip

2 cans bean dip (mild or hot)
2 packages of guacamole
1 bundle of green onions, chopped
2 tomatoes, chopped (drained)
1 sm. can black olives
8 oz. pkg. Cheddar cheese
1 c. sour cream
1 pkg. taco mix

First Step: Add sour cream and taco mix together and mix well.

Second Step: In a large platter dish, begin layering ingredients accordingly:

1st Layer - Bean dip

2nd Layer - Guacamole

3rd Layer - Sour cream

4th Layer - Green onions

5th Layer - Tomatoes

6th Layer - Black olives

7th Layer - Cheddar cheese

This is the dip I always make. It's good for the Super Bowl, World Series, NBA Finals, college football or basketball games, the Simpsons, 24, General Conference, etc.

You need to hurry and get a patent, or trademark, or copyright or whatever necessary for this before a guy like me steals it.

Does it matter what flavor Doritos I buy?

I love Super Bowl food.

This year I'm doing sweet pork nachos. Put a 2-lb. pork sirloin roast in the crock pot, along with 1 1/2 cup of Pace Picante Sauce (medium), 1 can of green chilis, and 1/2 cup of brown sugar. Cook it for 4 hours on high, then shred it with a couple of forks. Once it's shredded, leave it in the crock pot for another 1/2 hour or so on the warm setting. You can use the pork for salads, burritos, tacos, or nachos. It tastes a lot like the Cafe Rio style pork.

I like to put it on nachos with cheese and black beans and then putting them in the oven for about 20 minutes to get the cheese melted and the Nachos warm and crisp. As Larry David would say, "Pretty, Pretty, Pretty, Good."

It really doesn't matter. All new flavors of Dorito's basically taste like an extreme, modified version of Cool Ranch or Nacho Cheese.
