I expected BYU to lose
 

1. Past performance predicts future performance
2. Utah has more talent, better players
3. Bronco has rarely out-coached a better team

The difference in this game was the Utah DL's domination of the BYU OL. Mangum had happy feet and wasn't comfortable. He settled down a little bit in the 2nd half and the OL did a better job of protection.

But let's face it, we just don't the horses.

That's why I'm excited for Bronco to leave. Bronco, he who had players recruit him, rather than the other way around. We need a serious talent upgrade. Too many Fine Young Men who really ought not have a scholarship at the level of football. Bye.

I'd like to see a few black players as well. Wouldn't that be nice.

I don't think Bronco is a bad coach. He's a system guy and a system coach. With him you get the system. And that's it. His teams will play hard and not quit. They will play their system. It will only get them so far, but maybe for Virginia, that is far enough. Bowls most years probably keeps him in a job for a long time there.
