He is correct. God outside time is classical theism (comes from Plato). Cs Lewis said you don't learn have to believe that to be considered orthodox.

Kaku also got the Bible wrong. Most Bible scholars believe God created out of chaos, not nothing.

I'm thinking he's also citing a made up story about Columbus. Oh well, irrelevant. Fascinating video.

Alma 40:8 indicates that God is outside of time.
