If you can read this thread, you are on the new server

FYI.

The old server has a message saying that we are moving, and DNS has been updated.

Let me know if you find any bugs or problems in the archive, etc.

You need to modify your .htaccess file so www.cougarguard.com redirects to

http://www.cougarguard.com/forum/

(or have an index.php that redirects, I can't remember which way is better)

I see it, which tells me that you are the man.

I'm with Hyrum. Good work.

When I went to my bookmark it went to the parent directory. I had to click on the Forums sub folder to get to the site.

thanks, to test some things I deleted the redirect, and forgot to add it back. I've put it back.

Impressive server transfer. As smooth as I've ever seen one go.

For the tech illiterate, what changes with a new server?

Less downtime? Other than the site being down every now and then, I haven't noticed any delays or other problems.

It's like the difference between your computer and my computer. One is a little neater, a little faster, has more harddrive space, doesn't need to have the cord shaked to turn on, etc.

but both can surf the net and run minesweeper.
