"Mothers who know best" advertisement

Did I really just hear an ad on KSL that said that "Mothers who know best" buy Rhodes Bake-and-Serve rolls for their families??

Utah is a crazy place. Sister Beck should have trademarked the phrase I guess. Now every business catering to the Utah Mormon woman is going to be using her catch-phrase for free.

Yeah, Utah is a crazy place.

That sounds like one of those fake ads you hear on Prairie Home Companion.

You must have mis-heard. There is no way someone in Utah would use the Church/Gospel to make a buck.

Just for clarity, the Beck talk never uses the words "mothers who know best."

It was "mothers who know," as in "that if [their sons] did not doubt, God would deliver them."

Tex is right. These things are not related to each other.

I actually agree with Tex. This ad campaign is not unlike the national peanut butter slogan..."Choosy moms who know choose Jif"
