That cat is out of the bag on this one. It's going to run its course across the nation.

Hopefully it will not be much worse than a normal flu season. Fingers crossed.

Comments on that article are interesting. Apparently it's an immigration issue, and less a health issue.

Tell me, are you inside for the day, not wanting to risk exposure?

I'm doing my normal work thing. And since I don't work outdoors, I am inside. But inside at work inside my office.

I brought some hand sanitizer however.

If I catch it, it will probably be from my kids who are exposed to countless other slobbering, sniffling, coughing kids.

I understand some schools in San Antonio are shut down. This was reported by a caller on the Diane Rhem show this morning on NPR.

We are likely a couple days from this.

A lot of people are going to be seeing the doctor this morning (Monday) in Dallas area, and docs will be calling in suspected cases. Tomorrow we will be told there are suspected x # of cases. And then the local govt. will react.

Richardson elementary school (basically North Dallas) has closed due to confirmed flu case.
