What the Site Should Be/Already Is

This is a cool site. It's odd that it started as an alternative to CB, since it seems like the focus here is so utterly different than there. Despite the stated BYU-Sports themes and all, this place is becoming much more a place for, well, *interesting* discussion of LDS religion and personal views. What I think makes the venue particularly interesting, and this is probably a function of having been spawned by the BYU sports community, is that it's an "open" discussion being perpetuated by people who aren't on the lunatic fringe of the church.

I'm just saying that if this site had been created with the stated purpose of "*OPEN* LDS discussions", it would have probably attracted a crowd of drunk-on-their-own-kool-aid let's-canonize-Sunstone extremists. Since it wasn't, it hasn't, and b/c of that, the discussions seem downright real and truly OPEN, rather than the mock-openness that one often finds in self-deceived places like, you know, academia.

Mad props.

I concur.

I expected a lot more fringe elementalism-- people gathered so they can vent through bursts of anatomical expressions and go back to Cougarboard once they were done. I've been surprised. Good work boys.
