It is a thrill to see a wolf

I figure I am one of an extremely minuscule percentage of Americans to have seen a wolf in the wild (yellowstone). |
Cool story. Anderson Cooper does it all for CNN.

I didn't read the link but I was biking near Marsupials home town in Big Trees National Park a few years ago and came across a coyote that was probably 80-100 pounds. He was at the side of the road about 15 feet away as I went flying by him. I actually mistook it for a wolf it was so big. I asked the Ranger at the front gate and it turns out she had also recently seen one about the same size. No wolves in California, just very well fed coyotes.

I have never seen a wolf either, however i have been about 20 yards from 3 different bears in a 2 week span. That was some crazy shit.

I had a squirrel growl at me and stalk me once. Does that count?

Last month I saw a wolf two miles south of town while out of a bike ride. I wouldn't know the difference between a coyote and wolf but the hunter that stopped along side the road did and he was freaking out. It was killing him not to be able to shot it.

Has anyone seen a white deer? |
Why would some idiot want to shoot the wolf? I would shoot him if he was shooting the wolf. In the leg.

I've seen wolves, foxes, bears, caribou, big horn sheep, lots of fun animals.
|
I've seen lots of flying fish. Hovering in the air right next to me, as we go 30mph in our boat.
