So who does everyone think will replace Faust in the FP?

I have no idea, but I'll guess Elder Scott just for fun.

Packer. Or will he be passed over again?

DrumNFeather 08-10-2007 01:21 PM

I'll go with Oaks.

No way Packer is installed in the first presidency. I think it's going to be L Tom (not to be confused with L Ron).

Oaks would probably be my guess as well. Oaks or Nelson.

I would be blown away if it wasn't Packer. I loved Faust. This is a sad day; he was a friend of the family.

I couldn't disagree more. He is almost assured of being in the First Presidency now, I think. He is the acting president of the 12 and has never served in the FP. There is a good chance he will be the president of the church one day, and will almost certainly be the president of the 12 in the near future. It would be beneficial for him to have experience in the FP.

He was passed over before. Why not now?

President Monson is three years younger than President Packer. I don't know what that says about the chance that President Packer will be around to succeed him.

Perry or Oaks.
