Alta v. Layton in the 5A Championship Game
 

Part of me wanted a piece of Bingham in the Championship game since they were the team to beat all year... but I'll take a victory over Alta if we can get it.

Excited to see Layton make it to the Championship. They've been LONG overdue.

I'm shooting to make it, but we'll see as the week goes on if it happens. If I do I'll have to take you up on the offer though.

If I cared about my alma matter I would say Alta sucks here. I am glad I don't care.

So, what's the latest on Shakerin (or however it is spelled)? Has he committed to anyone yet? Any idea where he is leaning?

The latest I've heard (from a number of friends who have kids who play at Alta), is that Shakerin (pronounced shah-kah-REEN) (I'm proud of myself for learning how to pronounce it) is still undecided and in no hurry to make that decision.

I can say that if he is leaning, it is toward a few BCS schools.
