Turns out, per twitter, that he is not getting a scholarship. Preferred walkon.

Some red flags there. In other words, he had no other official visits. And I'm kinda doubting he had a scholarship offer from Washington. My guess is that there is a little Baghdad Bob in that quote.

I saw a brief tape on him. Almost everything was catch and shoot. Looks like he has good form on his shot. Saw him drive a couple times, hard to know what to make of it, because he was playing against Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.

But my guess is that he is going to be a poor defender, catch and shoot type ala a poor man's Fischer. Just a first impression.

Saw a post on CB that indicated he is from a part-member family and hasn't been particularly active. And that it was a surprise he would want to come to BYU. Saw an article that said he did not plan to serve a mission.

I hope he's good. But I don't think we need to worry. As a walk-on, this is low risk. If he's not good enough, then he's gone. If he's good, then win.

Btw, I have guarded (successfully) a BYU preferred walk on. So that should tell you something!!!!
