Or have been. Sounds like a safe place for kids.

based on what?

That has to be the least substantive article I've read in a long time.

They better be able to back that up. If they do, I am coming down definitely on the side of the Texas authorities.

However, since Texas law when the sect moved there was 16, they better have a lot of them being under 16 out of the 31.

Isn't it ironic, the crackdown on the FLDS, while Miles Cyrus, 15 year old pop star, sheds clothing for photos?

UtahDan 04-28-2008 09:47 PM

These are simple people. All they want is to be left alone so that they can bang underage girls in peace. That an oppressive government wants to rob them of this basic right is appalling.

Sincerely,

R. Kelly

Based on the recited facts. Do you need a philosophical essay? This is what's known as a bulletin, and it's probably based on a press release. The facts speak for themselves.

Easy SU. Mike is pretty invested in the oppressive government angle of this. He will come around, but not overnight.

They said they couldn't determine ages.

Now they can? How? This can't be included in a press release?

This ought to be a separate thread, but yes there is irony there. No one is systematically impregnating Miley against her will, but the photographs in Vanity Fair are totally inappropriate for a 15year old girl. That her dad was on set for the shoot is even more mind boggling. She is Britney/Lindsay in embryo (read her comments about them being 'normal' 21-25 year olds in the VF article if you haven't.)

My over under on how long it takes her to screw up in some big public way is 24 months.
