it means that the Big 12 will not expand before end of current contracts, and also they did NOT get a huge check to not expand. They got a very small check.

It means BYU is not considered a valued addition.

BYU is OUT. By the only group of schools that might have reasonable expectation to want to add BYU.

BYU is SCREWED. The fans just don't realize it fully yet.
