Riis claiming drug use?

Check out this quote from CSC's Barnje Riis:

Quote:

Bjarne Riis“I’m a bit disappointed that Landis was allowed to take so much time, but then we expected him to fade more than he did at the end. It’s difficult to explain how he came back after what happened yesterday…maybe Landis should explain. It’s a crazy Tour. I feel today that we’ve perhaps earned second place in Paris but lost the Tour. Should we have started working earlier? No, we don’t have the team for that; it would have meant leaving Carlos isolated a lot earlier in the stage. He didn’t take as many risks as some of the other riders on the last descent and lost some time; it’s hard to tell whether or not that time will be crucial. It’s not over yet, but I think that Landis will win the time trial and win the Tour. I don’t think that eighteen seconds will be enough... ”
Is he suggesting that Landis did something illegal in order to recover? Talk about sour grpaes. I never have liked Riis that much and I think he isgetting more and more bitter as his chances to win the tour keep getting dashed every year. I like Sastre but I won't be disappointed to see Riis fail once again, if it happens.

Is taking something illegal the logical explanation for the recovery? In other words, is there really something that can do that trick?

Perhaps Riis should explain why Baso isn't riding for CSC this tour.

Talk about irony. Basso cheats and Rijs thinks all cheat.

He had heat stroke and got over it. Up until then, he had been very strong.

Geeze, get over it.

To tell you the truth, It seems to me this tour is most like what one would expect if the playing field was level. All the guys that you think should be pretty good have been rpetty good. No one has stood out as being unexpectedly good or bad. I obviously could be wriong, but it is possible that this is a clean tour. Riis (or Rijs, or should I jst say putz?) who has been suspected himself of doping when he won his TdF, should just shut up. These sort of comments make him look bad, IMO.
