Apparently went to Venezuela to marry a Mormon he met online. Then arrested on what are no doubt trumped up charges.

Anybody visiting Venezuela would have to be extremely naive. Feel badly for him, but it makes no sense to travel to Venezuela or North Korea or Somalia.

Venezuela used to be a prosperous free country. Now several years of despotism has killed the economy and made it a prison with few to no civil liberties where almost everyone is in danger of starving to death, and the government cares only about hanging onto its power. Sad.
