So, pro tip. Never call a guy to be mission president named "Philander." I mean, like, duh.

It's eye-opening, a little, to read this blog about this couples' experience with Mr. Smartt.

Actions he took, allegedly to victimize women, are portrayed as inspired strokes of genius. You have no idea.

Luckily I think these guys are pretty rare in church leadership.

What an inspired call.

you have to be on the speed bush to church leadership success to be called as a MP at age 43.

Wondering if this guy was also an AP on his mission. And designated by his Mission President as a future leadership talent in the church.

Fail.

Imagine being the parents of one of these sister missionaries. It's hard for me to imagine how angry I would be.

It really puts a hole in the theory of inspired callings. First the MTC presidents molests female missionaries and now boy wonder wines and dines their panties off.

Where is the insight to protect people? How did his wife not know?

well there's been an apostle who was excommunicated.

and there was also an apostle who betrayed Jesus, you know for some silver and stuff.

So we should be happy about it?
