Does Collinsworth have any offensive skills?

The only two shots I can remember him taking were two foot layups in traffic, and he missed both very badly.

Is he BYU's Dennis Rodman?

He is a freshman and BYU doesn't need him to score. My guess is he has offensive skills, and if he doesn't Rose will develop them. Rose really knows offense, so I wouldn't worry about Collinsworth.

I think he has a lot more offensive skills than he shows. He doesn't really have the green light to shoot a whole lot. I remember him shooting some 3's toward the start of the season and that has not continued. I am sure all the coaches tell him when he gets in the games is to rebound rebound rebound, dont let guys get layups, run the floor, and rebound. BYU's Rodman is a good title for his role this year.

He seems a very similar player to Jacob Chrisman from the 2000-2001 team. Chrisman had good offensive skills but his role did not allow those to shine through and when he was given any offensive opportunity, he looked really awkward.

Chrisman is also similar to Trent in that he is very innexperienced playing in the post. Both are great athletes, but where predominately perimeter players in high school. Trent because his coach must have been a moron and Collinsworth because he was 5'9" until his senior year.

Collinsworth will be a very good player for BYU in time.

BYU looked a little sloppy against Portland. I think Andy Toolson is pretty solid as a color analyst. Probably better than the Mtn idiots.

That's a sign of how good this BYU team is. They didn't look all that good and before you knew it, they were up 52-23.

I thought Chatmat hit the nail on the head. Chatman has also become a bit of one tubby tubby..two tubby tubby. He has yet to hit the realm of the Koz, who got winded walking from his seat to midfield and back for the 1984 NC team event at half of the Y-Notre Dame game in 2004.

I also have an opinion, when BYU plays a team with as many white guys as them BYU usually wins. Frequently by a lot.

Chrisman was also a dirty thief. Unfortunately, for BYU he was not able to translate his thieving ways off the court into thieving ways on the court.

What?? Chrisman gave up basketball for baseball and when that didn't work, he ended up playing hoops for BYU-Hawaii.
