Apparently one of your cross country athletes has a problem with mops
 

That is awesome! Stealing condoms is one thing and I understand the mocking...but jumping out of your car, taking a guy's mop and to start hitting him on the head with the mop is an all time classic. Seriously, that is so hillariously stupid, I don't know what to say.

The word "allegedly" comes to mind in this instance. I'll be interested to see how it all shakes out. His coach certainly had his back.

Yep, alleged. I will be interested to see how it would play out...still strange to have a guy get out of his car, pick up a guy's mop and start jousting another guy with it. If only we had video of that. The only way that this story could get any better is if he had just stolen condoms before getting in to a mop fight.

Mop-related attacks occur at every major University. The University of Maryland, for example, had 8 mop-related incidents in the last year alone.

For some reason I found this very funny. My apologies to those Terrapins and their families who fell victim to these mop attacks.
