Heras wins fourth Vuelta, Danielson a respectable 8th
What do you guys think?
http://www.pezcyclingnews.com/?pg=fullstory&id=3482 Frankly, I don't know enough about the Vuelta, other than it's in Spain. |
Same boat here
I haven't followed La Vuelta enough in the past to know if Danielsons 8th place finish is any indicator of future success. All I know is that in europe it is considered part of the trifecta of professional cycling.
He was fairly strong in the time trials and he is a decent climber, so I would imagine that bodes well for him in the future. While he did have some rough stages this year, I was under the impression that he held back a bit this year just so that he could finish strong. I don't know if Johann had anything to do with that, but having a positive experience while finishing his first grand tour has to be good for his confidence level. Anyone know where he's from? I suppose I could look it up, but there are a lot of things that I could do which I am way too lazy to actually follow through with. |
