McCain campaign worker assaulted, "B" carved into her face.
 

At least, that is what we heard yesterday. If true, it would have been an awful crime.

As it turns out, she made it up (apparently using a mirror to carve the B into her face, not realizing that it would make the B backwards in the process).

It seemed a little fishy to me. I seem to remember a Law and Order episode with something like this ...

I thought the B carved backwards was odd. I didn't think of a mirror. I just thought it demonstrated how exceptionally stupid the carver was. As it turns out, I was still right.
