I've lost Gidget to Edward

She's currently tearing through book 2 of the Twilight series.

Good point.

A friend suggested that she read it as it improved some things in the bedroom for her and her husband. So does this not kick in until the third book?

Why am I suspicious that the "improvement" is actually an absence?

This is a scary comment to me. You would need a lot hotter soft core porn for most women, I would think. The sex in there goes nowhere until the final book, and by then, who cares?

(I really should shut up about these books because I'm always embarrassed to have read them).

A book about vampires?

I think that speaks more to the state of things at your friend's house, not the power of the books.

I made a comment about the vampire genre also and that you can tell quite a bit about someone who is into it.

I always think of this:

If she wants to talk about these books, I can send her my 15 year old daughter's e-mail.

You guys suck. It's just a book. I read a lot. A LOT. And I felt like it was time to cover this series, you won't see me buying any t-shirts with "Edward's Bride" all over them anytime soon, or ever. Just some entertaining fiction in my very non-fiction library, geez. okay I'm done.
