I didn't find the article very illuminating.

Several of the FB comments bring up Mormons.

Her reasoning (I think) was that if SSM were legal it'd be harder for polygamy to be legal, because if states did not recognize other states' SSM, then a Tom married to Joe in Mass can move to Tennessee and get married again to Sandra (because his first marriage isn't recognized by Tennessee). Weak sauce argument.
