John 11:26

καὶ πᾶς ὁ ζῶν καὶ πιστεύων εἰς ἐμὲ οὐ μὴ ἀποθάνῃ εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα πιστεύεις τοῦτο

Which we translate into,

Quote:

and everyone who lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?’
AA or Solon, on punctuation, how does one know, there should be a pause after aiwna, heaven, and that pisteyeis, believe, starts a new phrase?

This reminds me of the special broadcast that the church had on the day after the 9/11/01 attacks. Elder Eyring got up and read the "I am the resurrection and the life" scripture, and read the one that you just quoted, and then he paused, looked in the camera, and said, "believest thou this?"

So FWIW, his expression of the same was as though he started a new phrase.

Punctuation is almost always inferred when a sentence has a sudden transitional break with no conjunction to lead into it.

For example:

There is a missing punctuation mark somewhere in this line can you tell where it ought to be?
