Tell me again why McCain is "the true conservative"

I don't understand how any Republican can vote for this phony, given the facts presented in this article. One nugget I was not aware of, McCain voted in FAVOR of Ruth Bader Ginsberg. But he's really a conservative guys....LMAO.

Ginsburg was confirmed 96-3. McCain wasn't alone.

lol! Exactly what I was thinking. Care to guess who recommended Ginsburg to Clinton for nomination?

Your very own Orrin Hatch.

In the past at least, Republicans have not been as quick to politicize judicial appointments as the Democrats have been.

Wow.

She is scary on the bench based on the few opinions of her that I have read.

Couple of things:

1. Orrin Hatch offered her not as a bastion of conservatism, but as someone he thought could get confirmed. I don't particularly care for the strategy, but let's just be clear on why she was recommended.

2. Ginsburg, like Scalia, was confirmed at a time before we had fully transitioned to the partisan rancor over judges that we now have. It began with Bork, continued with Thomas, and now exists for every judge who gets nominated. Ginsburg and Scalia both escaped it. You can thank the Democrats for changing the tone.

Say what you want about Ruth Buzzy Ginsberg. The article covers many other points indicating Juan's true colors, and they aren't conservative.

"Juan's" true colors? That isn't even remotely amusing.
