Lbsu

Another bball team that is poorly organized, shoots poorly, especially from the FT line, and loses games it should not.

It has no player who will go to the line often that is consistently good. That will cost BYU dearly this year.

It has no ball possession and no ability to remain calm under pressure. This basketball IQ on this team his awful.

If BYU makes it to the Tourney it will be either because it has improved tremendously or because the 68 teams is too large a number. Right now, this team looks completely lost without a clue.

I watched the game this morning.

Collinsworth was awful. Fischer was awful.

Guard play in general was awful.

There's actually some art to basketball. You can't just run over guys because they are in front of you. You have to do something.

Nick Emery thought he was playing UVU again. Didn't value the ball.

The team was just garbage.

Collinsworth choked big-time. The whole game.

The entire game basically rested on on the guards losing their heads and making bad decisions. Part of it was LBSU's defense on the perimeter, but mostly it was from BYU's guards getting impatient, trying to push too hard when it wasn't needed and rushing it. The big guys played very well however.

LBSU missed a lot of open looks. It's not like LBSU shot well.

Rose going to Zone felt like more give-up-itis. As in, "we suck, so let's stop the bleeding with the zone if we can". Against a team with one 6'7" guy.

This team is very rough. The rotations are not even close to the final season rotations. These announcers keep talking about how Rose says Toolson is so much better. If he's going to be anything other than an occasional spot up 3 shooter, he's going to have to show something on defense. Last year he was a poor defender. And the 3 is a position of weakness for BYU.
