A comparison of comparable opponents shows Stanford should throttle BYU.

Common opponents include Oregon, Hawaii, SDSU, Arizona and Washington State.

On top of that, Stanford has the national Co-Players of the Year, a juggernaut en route to a national championship.

BYU is just a rugged backwater team.

As for me, anything where BYU excels, save ballroom dancing, will have me cheering. But this should be the end of the road, the costly loss to SDSU created this problem.

But BYU is the only school scheduled NOT to play on Sunday.
