Activity of your Spouse

If your spouse were to leave the church would you...

A. Leave also

B. Leave your spouse

C. Continue doing your thing and let him/her pursue their own path.

C.

Any other option seems untenable.

My wife's activity in the distant past has kept me from going inactive. Given that we have 4 kids now, I would probably stay active regardless of her activity rate for the sake of the kids.

C. But A before B.

That's finding a positive in a tough situation.

In fairness, the poll does not provide enough information.

Example, first year of marriage, no children, you two marry in temple, she leaves Church, starts hanging out at bars, bringing home boyfriend, telling you to F off.

Or, thirty year marriage, children in home reared well, she has a death of a close member, you lose your job, many other trials arise, she begins to lose faith and stops going after mullahish hometeachers bug her for wearing a tank top to restaurant. She gradually finds other things to do on Sunday.

They both effectively fall within your scenario, but they are lightyears apart.

C for me. I would never, ever consider B if all she did was leave the church.

Under any scenario?

Look at my set of scenarios.
