Jimmer after two games...
 

Jimmer looks a lot less confident in his first 2 NBA games compared to the 2 preseason games.

He has scored 6 and 10 points. In his first game, first time he touched the ball he turned it over. He has yet to be able to finish in the lane. Opposing teams are viewing his defense as a weakness, and are running iso sets against him.

Although he scored 10 points against the Trailblazers, I think it's safe to say he gave up at least as much on the other side of the floor.

On the other hand, he is showing that he can shoot. And that he can dish the ball from time to time as well.

Maybe most worrying on the offensive side of the ball is that his handle appears to be lacking, that he cannot handle the ball well enough to keep defenders on their heals. They crowd him, and Jimmer looks unsure of himself.

One hopes that this is mostly confidence and experience issues and that he will improve in rapid order. No doubt he will get much better than this. But the question is when and by how much.
