anyone seen the movie "Everest"?
 

I finally watched it. Good movie. Helped me make sense of what things were like on the mountain.

We have discussed Krakauer a lot on this message board over the years. In my case, often negatively. Krakauer comes across as a selfish ass in the movie. And he is on record as not liking this movie at all and claiming it is inaccurate.

Part of me relishes that Krakauer looks like an ass in the movie, but part of me actually sympathizes with him. Hard to say what I or anyone else would have done differently.

Krakauer is a selfish ass, so that part must be accurate.
