Mosquito misting systems

Anybody have one of those mosquito misting systems installed? With all the rain we've had and being out in the country, I need to something about all the skeeters out back as we're already getting eaten alive.

Isn't it the worst!? We've got an acre and the drainage after storms is terrible. After last month's monsoon we're being overrun. I'm afraid the mosquitoes are going to carry off one of the kids one of these days. Or maybe make off with the Miata.

Anyway, I don't actually have any advice, but let me know if you figure something out.

Set fire to anything you don't need.

We didn't have that many mosquitos at summer camp.

Plus I think I am immune to them. After my mission in the tropics.

Here's one company I found. I filled out their form to get an estimate. I have no idea what they charge but it might be worth it.

Do you feel comfortable spraying estrogen disruptors all around your house in and around your family?

Hmmm ... given the gender breakdown at my house, less estrogen could be a good thing in the coming years.

Seriously though, I have no idea what you're talking about. Please edify me.

the pesticide they use is an estrogen disruptor.

I gathered that. But what exactly is an estrogen disruptor?

something screws with the estrogen signaling system in your body.
