This is infuriating...

...the weakest, most vulnerable population without any advocates.

They should be wrapped in tape and throw into solitary, no lights. Play constant audio of a child crying. Unwrap them after 3 days, offer water food. Then do it all over again. Eventually they will refuse the food and water and choose to die. Then forcefeed them and IVs.

Maybe after a few years of this, you then finally execute them. Maybe burning them in the woods a few times?

This would be too kind.

I agree. And while we're at it we should torture terrorists too.

Exactly why are they being charged with "involuntary manslaughter?" I don't do any criminal law, so it is a bit out of my element, but tying a 3 year old in a cocoon and leaving him for 2 freaking days can pretty much guarantee the kid will die. INVOLUNTARY????? MANSLAUGHTER????

Let's do better than that.

That is a bit of a head scratcher for me as well and I do this sort of thing (though I have not had a murder). Seems to me that, at least arguably, you have facts which would permit a 1st degree murder indictment. Start from theredemanding a jury and either get a plea to something else where they serve 20 years or go take a swing at it and get instructions on the lesser includeds.

Some prosecutor's offices are remarkably weak. Not because their intentions aren't good, but because they lack the confidence to go for.

in general, Texas prosecutors do not hesitate going for maximum penalties.
