any doubt in your mind now?

DI basketball is 1000x greater than DI football. One thousand times. I think of the Las Vegas Bowl, "bowl season," National Championship game contestants by designation, etc., compared to this masterpiece after March Madness and I want to puke. Vomit.

Watching Memphis try to hit a free throw makes me want to vomit.

Wow, that's gotta hurt for Memphis fans. Had the win, choked it away when Kansas forced them to win it at the line.

If it was BYU I'd be curled up in the fetal position and whimpering.

Hopefully it will help teach young basketballers the importance of free throws.

It's a lesson that Plaisted has never learned, eh?

As to Seattle's question, there was never any doubt in my mind which of the two major collegiate sports is the best - basketball by a zillion miles and the tournament just increases the superiority exponentially.

I like the NCAA Tourney, but I enjoy watching college football much more than college basketball. I just like the game better. If a meaningless regular season CFB game were on TV at the same time as a Tourney game, I'd probably end up watching the football game. Even if it weren't BYU.

Nothing wrong with that at all. I really do love the competition of college football, but the BCS has ruined the sport for me knowing that about half the teams that participate in D1 are precluded from any significant post season play before the season even starts. And the alleged significant post season play is a huge farce as well.

Basketball, OTH, is a sport where any team has a shot. And the championship game is earned by play on the floor rather than awarded based on data fed into a computer.

Which sport has the best playoff system? B-Ball, of course. Only a fat rich bastard in a colored suit would argue otherwise. Which sport is better? Football, by a mile.

football is better to watch. but basketball is more fun to play. more action. unless you are the QB.

baseball is boring to play as well. (I was an outfielder).

The outfield isn't boring after little league.
