Q: Does the Mormon Church believe that women can only gain access to heaven with a special pass or codewords?

A: No.
Without going into a lot of detail, is the church's answer to this question true?

Well, since the question only pertains to women, I don't think the church would want to respond in a way that gives the appearance that there is some distinction between what is requried of women and men.

It really should be re-titled: "14 Answers Given for 21 Questions About Mormonism."

Two main takeaways: Stop drinking beer, CGers.....and start drinking Mountain Dew!

Is the temple ceremony to be understood as a literal key to reaching Heaven, or is it merely symbolic?

The same could be said about the conception question.

Really, a few of the answers were evasive of our core beliefs.

I liked the answers--at least the content not really the style. I would have answered them almost exactly the same. I guess I'm the pure doctrine guy, Tex. Tex probably didn't like some of the answers. I did think sometimes the answers given went out of the way to be unneccesarily curt. These are great opportunities for the church, and they shouldn't be answered like we're pissed off or bored for having to answer them.

I thought the conception answer was spot on. You don't believe that BS about God having sex with Mary do you?

You are the Doctrinal Harlot. :)

The answers were fine, except for the cut-and-paste repeats. 21 Questions but only 16 Answers.

Well, I know Mary has a body. I know God has a body.

I know pretty much every child on earth was conceived similarly.

So there is the "BS" theory, as you say.....that seems to be perfectly natural and makes sense (but for our carnal take on sex).....or there is another answer, which would be.....what?
