Sherlock (BBC)

We've watched the first two episodes of the three available on netflix. Kinda fun and smart. Recommended. It's Sherlock Holmes set in modern day Britain, and Sherlock is a "consulting detective."

Have you watched Downton Abbey?

MikeWaters 01-12-2012 01:42 AM

No. Well actually I watched the first 3 minutes of the first episode. Then I saw that my wife was asleep, and turned it off. There was a dude in a carriage and then a bunch of servants running around.

Finished the first episode. Looks like it's going to be very good.

I lose the tension of class, money, status, relationships in these period pieces.

Remains of the Day is one of my favorite books.
