CIA lies

what exactly is it that the CIA lied about that has caused Panetta to cancel the program, and congressmen are described as stunned. That Cheney ordered the CIA to lie about.

My guess is that it has to with massive violations (or proposed massive violations) of civil liberties.

Freaking guy in a cave will destroy America, by America destroying itself. Twinkie Nation cannot survive a kick in the balls.

I suspect this has at least a little to do with Nancy Pelosi wanting to claim that she had no way of knowing about waterboarding.

Drudge had a link up for a few days (gone now) claiming that it was a secret assassination group within the CIA which reported directly to the VPs office and of which even the CIA director was totally unaware.

My reading of the Constitution doesn't give the VP authority to be ordering people around in the CIA or really anywhere in the executive branch. It only gives him duties related to the senate.

All the more alarming given that Cheney is in the legislative branch- if you believe Cheney at least.

One thing that annoys me about "conservatives" during the GWB administration is that they claim to be all about limited government and following the Constitution, but in many things they are clearly not about that. Neocons don't give a crap about what the Constitution says.
