Rough Stone Rolling

I never finished it the first time I read it.

So I've started over. Partly because this year being study of D&C in Sunday School.

Hard to believe that the book was published in 2005. That 12 years have passed. 12 FRICKIN' YEARS!

I see that I posted that thing about RSR (pinned post) in 2005. Man, it's hard to believe that this website has been going for that long.

We'll all be dead in the ground soon enough.

Also hard to believe that this website has existed for much more time after the putsch than before it.

I think I'm going to enjoy RSR more this time around. I'm older now. :)

It was an interesting book.

When you read about Smith's life, things quickly accelerate after formation of the church in 1830.

It occurred to me that it would be interesting to view JS's life in reverse. You start with the end then go to the beginning. I wonder which course would elicit more surprise?

I think if you tell the story, it would be more dramatic if set in Nauvoo, but told through a series of flashbacks. To more innocent times.
