Who are the top 10 most famous people that you've met?

Not merely seen, but actually interacted with?

Mine (in no particular order):

-Alex Smith (class)
-Urban Meyer (fundraiser)
-Karl Malone (Jr. Jazz camp)
-Ronnie Lott (promotion)
-Tony Dorsett (promotion)
-Emmanuel "Webster" Lewis (installed his satellite)
-L. Tom Perry (luncheon)
-Jenny Oaks Baker (high school, seminary)
-Former playmate of the year Julie Cialiani (had seats next to her at a 49ers game, the guys on the other side of us knew who she was, bishop that's all I swear)
-Antonin Scalia (luncheon)
-Gwenyth Paltrow (Sundance)

Beck (I wielded a press pass to get back stage of one of his shows. He is super nice.)
Jared Leto (Covering Sundance for the Daily Universe)
Andie MacDowell (Walking out of Long's Drugstore. She filmed Bad Girls in my hometown.)

And then a whole host of Utah/Mormon celebs
Larry King
Donnie Osmond
Stephen Covey
Picabo Street
(All of the above covering 4th of July stuff for the Des News)
President Monson (Hanging out with my family in the church office building)
President Faust (In the foyer at Stake conference)

And finally...
MikeWaters

All these were met when I was a valet at the Marriot in downtown SLC

10. Kobe Bryant's Dad "Jelly Bean"
9. Pre fame Britney Spears - (she was touring with In Sync)
8. Ron Artest
7. Ron Mcbride
6. Rick Majerus
5. Karl Malone (good tipper)
4. John Wooden
3. Bob Costas
2. George Carlin - Great Tipper
1. Bad Religion - Those guys are the best. Cool down to earth guys who were great tippers. In fact they gave everyone either. They would always drive up in their rented minivan and eatign cheeseburgers.

I don't really have a very good list.

In no particular order:

Orin Hatch
John Huntsman
David Robinson
General John Shalikashvili (Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff at the time)
Elizabeth Dole
Darryl Green maybe a dozen times in an airport.

BarbaraGordon 07-03-2008 03:47 AM

Tom Selleck
Robin Williams
Mike Wallace
Barbra Streisand
Tom Clancy
Itzhak Perlman
Tom Osborne
Lady Bird Johnson
Rosa Parks
Barack Obama

I'm still hoping for Kirk Herbstreit (he can call my plays anytime!), and the only man to ever look good in burnt orange: Matthew McConaughey. I'm also willing to consider visits from Brett Favre or John Cusack.

My 10 year old insists that I play "Los Angeles Is Burning" on the way to every baseball or football game of his. I have no idea why. He says it pumps him up.
