Just tried some Spicy Sweet Chili Doritos

Mmmmmm.... Thumbs up.

It seems like Doritos have two different families of chips. Nacho Cheese and Cool Ranch. Every other flavor is just a slight variant on those two tastes.

My new favorite Doritos is the Habanero flavor. Good stuff.

The "sweet chilli" is all the rage in Europe. You see that stuff on everything.

I have not eaten a Dorito in years.

The last time I ate one, I was chomping on a chip and a small but thick sliver broke off and went under the gumline at the base of one of my teeth.

It hurt like heck and even caused some bleeding.

I never ate another Dorito again.

Has anyone else ever experienced a gum contusion resulting from chip mastication?

That must have hurt like the dickins. Did you call the 800 number on the bag?

I should have.

Instead, I went to the bathroom, looked in the mirror, and could see part of the chip lodged under the gum.

I tried to go all MacGroover on the chip, grabbed some tweezers, and attempted to dislodge. Bad move. Just wound up breaking off the exposed portion of the chip.

And yes, it hurt like heck.

Is it still there?

No. The saliva moistened it up and I was messing around with it enough that it was gone within a few hours.

I dont really want to talk about it anymore.
