Whale Wars on Animal Planet.

Bunch of guys so crazy that Greenpeace kicked them out, try to stop Japanese whaling ships.

Just watched the first episode, I'm hooked. New episode on right now.

Season concluded.

Kind of interesting from the perspective of "what would happen if you put a bunch of hippy liberals together had them go to war?"

The results are not pretty.

Supposedly this next year they are going to have 3 boats, including some super fast tri-catamaran, I believe, that can go 40+ knots.

So next season promises to be interesting. The Japanese were extremely effective in their countermeasures, and the Sea Shepherds only remaining tactic was to ram their ship into the Japanese ship (which they claimed was an accident). SSs put a whole in their hull. You don't want to be taking on a lot of water in Antarctic waters.

I would recommend 30 Rock as a comedy show to watch now, its very good and always leaves me laughing for a few days afterwards. How I met your Mother I have been beginning to try and also seems like a very good show.
