What's the most you've ever spent on a two-person meal?

Paying for it out of your own pocket.

Just under $100 for an anniversary dinner. If we only had bought some booze...

I am tired of your sassiness!

Dinner for two, with tax and tip at a fancy pants place in a big city (sans alcohol) is generally going to be $300-400, depending on just how fancy the pants are. I would not know exact totals, nor how many times I have done this. But I don't regret a single one.

What if the meal was a comp - after a long night of gambling? Would the play go into the cost of the meal?

Honeymoon Surfah dropped almost $200 on a steak dinner at Gotham's in Vancouver BC. And then he threw it up.
